Joshua is the famous
boat with which Bernard
Moitessier sailed in
1968 in the first
single handed race
around the world called
the “ Golden Global
Challenge”.
The boat was named
after Joshua Slocum,
the first sailor to sail
single handed around
the world in 1898.
Joshua is now owned
by the La Rochelle
maritime museum who
sail the boat regularly.
